Fried Chicken Seasoning
Fried Chicken Seasoning
Fried chicken has it origins in ancient Rome (the first recorded recipe), Scotland (the first frying in hot fat), and West Africa (where chicken was first seasoned and battered). Our fried chicken seasoning is intensely savory and just a little bit spicy. It honors all who had a hand in this beloved dish.
For fried chicken that twangs with flavor, mix one part Fried Chicken Seasoning with five parts flour in a bag. Toss in the chicken pieces and shake until coated, then fry. Our Fried Chicken Seasoning is also delicious on fried catfish, grilled pork chops, or to make seasoned croutons. You can even toss cubed potatoes in this seasoning before roasting for an addictive side dish that’s a winner at picnics.
